Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Digrin at digrin.com and related services, including any public APIs or Model Context Protocol (MCP) / ChatGPT plugin endpoints we operate (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Digrin is a dividend growth investing research and portfolio-tracking website operated at digrin.com. Questions about these Terms: [email protected].
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to create an account.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
- You may sign up with email/password or third-party sign-in (for example, Google). You must provide accurate account information.
- You may delete your account in account settings, subject to any legal retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
3. The Service
Digrin provides tools and information related to stocks, dividends, lists (such as CCC Champions/Contenders/Challengers), calendars, and optional portfolio tracking, imports, and broker sync features.
Features may change, be limited by plan, or be discontinued. We may update, suspend, or restrict parts of the Service for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.
4. Not investment advice
All data and information on the Service is provided as is for personal informational purposes only. It is not investment, tax, legal, or trading advice, and it is not an offer to buy or sell any security.
Market data, dividend history, yields, growth rates, and similar figures may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify pricing and corporate actions with your broker or other authoritative sources before making decisions. See also our Disclaimer.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid plan. Prices, plan limits, and billing intervals are described on the pricing page and at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider (for example, Stripe). Applicable taxes may apply.
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew until canceled. You can cancel according to the options in your account; cancellation typically stops future renewals and does not automatically refund past periods unless required by law or we expressly agree otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of law or for fraud, market manipulation, or unauthorized access
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy the Service in a way that burdens our systems or violates these Terms, except as allowed by a documented public API/MCP interface and reasonable rate limits
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass security or access controls
- Upload malware or harmful content, or interfere with other users
- Misrepresent that Digrin endorses any trade, investment strategy, or third-party product
- Resell or redistribute non-public account data obtained from the Service without authorization
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.
7. Your content and portfolio data
You retain ownership of portfolio and investment data you enter or import. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data as needed to operate the Service for you (including sync, calculations, and features you enable).
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you provide and for complying with your broker’s terms when connecting API keys or importing statements.
8. ChatGPT plugins, MCP, and third-party AI tools
We may offer a public MCP / ChatGPT plugin endpoint that exposes public market and dividend research tools (for example, stock dividend profiles, screens, and calendars).
Unless you separately authenticate and we expressly provide private tools, the public MCP server does not create or manage portfolios and does not access private Digrin account holdings. Third-party AI products (including ChatGPT) are operated by their providers under their own terms and privacy policies; your use of those products is between you and that provider.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, and site design, is owned by Digrin or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you. You may not copy or reuse our branding or non-public materials without permission.
10. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third parties (brokers, payment processors, sign-in providers, analytics, data vendors). Their services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE COMPLETE OR CURRENT.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGRIN AND ITS AFFILIATES, DATA PROVIDERS, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (US $50), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digrin from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your portfolio or broker connections, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a notice on the site when appropriate.
15. Contact and support
Support and questions: [email protected]. Product troubleshooting is also available on our FAQ page. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
